Road Ready

With the expansive growth in northern Colorado, more people are commuting to work away from their homes. In fact, a 2001 study by the Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization found 30 percent of the Greeley work force commuted outside town, 45 percent of Loveland workers went elsewhere and 17 percent of Fort Collins workers commuted outside the city.

While the commuter�s task is to get to work on time and in one piece, our task for the next four months will be to make it easier. Every Monday, the Tribune will run the Road Ready feature dedicated to the commuter. You say you can�t find an easier route from Greeley to Fort Collins? There are no good radio stations to keep you company? You want to know the best places to grab coffee on the go? Where are the speed traps?
